Cody Rhodes-WWE update
Cody Rhodes has still not signed with WWE despite heavy speculation, and it seems that talks have died down. The company is still hoping to get him in time for WrestleMania, and it's unsure why the negotiations have not resulted in a done deal. (Source: Wrestling Observer Radio)
We say: This is getting really interesting, and if Cody is working against whatever WWE is offering him, then he's somewhat squandering the momentum he gained from his AEW departure. That said, should he arrive in the WWE anyway he'd generate a lot of buzz, so he might be the one with leverage here.
WWE considering calling up Bron Breakker
Vince McMahon has reportedly been impressed with Bron Breakker's work and is considering calling him up to the main roster sooner than expected. Dolph Ziggler won the NXT Championship on NXT Roadblock this week so that Breakker could win it back in a big match at NXT Stand and Deliver in a few weeks, but that could change if he gets called up. (Source: Dave Meltzer)
We say: Not that Bron would get good booking right away, but SmackDown does need a lot more depth on the midcard, and he would be a fun add.
