Wrestlers not happy with references to released talent on RAW
Some wrestlers are not happy with Liv Morgan and Edge's references to released talent in their respective promos on this week's episode of RAW. Former WWE employees and at least one current employee were said to have thought the mentions were in bad taste. It was the company's attempt at some buzz after CM Punk and MJF made headlines in their promo battle from last Wednesday's Dynamite. (Source: Fightful)
We say: OMG TRIGGURD SNOWFLAKES!1!11
Honestly, they're right to feel that way. The company's heartless releases have been reduced to throwaway one-liners to try and get some social media buzz, and if that doesn't scream terrible capitalism, then chances are you might be a shitty fan. Anyone could get axed right now and then be used as a plot device next week. It's even worse when you realize that Liv Morgan and Edge were likely fed those lines by WWE creative, instead of them thinking of it on their own the same way CM Punk and MJF would have.
Details on Triple H's health scare
Triple H's "cardiac event" that necessitated heart surgery a few months back was reportedly "very, very, very serious." It was said to be a genetic heart issue, and he still hasn't resumed his duties in NXT. He was, however, seen recently in a video touring the new WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. He is also apparently not allowed to discuss any work matters. (Source: Dave Meltzer)
We say: We hope Triple H can make a full recovery, as NXT 2.0 really needs him—but really, we just want him to be safe and healthy.
