The Grapevine (8/11/21): CM Punk Had Been Training For Comeback, Bray Wyatt Mental Health Rumors Debunked

    CM Punk

Welcome to the Grapevine! This section of Smark Henry is where we round up all the important founded and unfounded rumors floating around the pro wrestling scene that you may have missed over the past few days. Remember to take everything with a grain of salt!

CM Punk had been training for an in-ring return

CM Punk had apparently been training on his own, on top of the training he'd been doing for Heels. Wrestlers who had trained with Punk ahead of his upcoming in-ring return have said that they wondered if he had been training in private, as it seemed like he "had never left." He is also completely healthy, which is a far cry from the state of his body on his way out from WWE. (Source: Fightful Select)

We say: Of course it makes total sense for Punk to really get into training, and it's better to spoil his return by letting everyone know that he's good to go instead of completely surprising people but not practicing. We're looking forward to a refreshed, invigorated, and inspired Punk.

Bray Wyatt mental health rumors debunked

The rumors suggesting that Bray Wyatt took time off WWE to work on his mental health are completely false. In fact, he is also completely healthy and he was scheduled to return to WWE TV at this week's RAW in Orlando. (Source: Fightful Select)

We say: Well, that's not happening now, and we all already know that this release might come back to bite WWE in the ass.
