WWE officials apparently apologized to Zelina Vega
WWE officials reportedly apologized to Zelina Vega over her firing after some people in the company pushed for talks between the two parties. Vega had been released from the company in November 2020 due to the infamous third-party edict that banned wrestlers from participating in third-party platforms such as Twitch and Cameo without the company's involvement. We say: Well, at least they apologized and brought her back—but what's the update on the edict now, anyway?
Toni Storm and Shotzi Blackheart tried out for main roster
Former NXT UK Women's Champion Toni Storm and former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion Shotzi Blackheart received tryout matches in the WWE ThunderDome before SmackDown went on the air last Friday. They join NXT Champion Karrion Kross and former NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed as the rumored latest round of callups to the main roster. (Source: PWInsider)
We say: All for this, as SmackDown's women division especially needs a shot in the arm.
