SPW's Trexxus Is Officially the First Southeast Asian Talent in the WWE

Sean Tan, a.k.a. Trexxus from Singapore Pro Wrestling (SPW), has been announced as one of the newest recruits training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. He is the first Southeast Asian wrestler to be signed to the promotion.

He made his first appearance on NXT last month as a security guard in a segment involving Cameron Grimes and LA Knight. WWE made the official announcement earlier today where two other Asian talents, Feicheng Wang and Jie Yin, were introduced.

"To the believers, thank you and don't stop supporting the dreamers. To the doubters, thank you and it's never too late to start," Sean wrote on social media.

The 25-year-old wrestler was a former Singapore Pro Wrestling Southeast Asia Heavyweight Champion. His last match in his home promotion was against his former tag team partner "The Statement" Andruew Tang with a "Loser leaves SPW for good" stipulation.

Filipino fans also know him for wrestling at Philippine Wrestling Revolution (PWR) Live: Beautiful in 2019, where Onslaught (Trexxus and The Statement) faced the #PWOGs, Jake De Leon and Ken Warren.

We wish Sean/Trexxus the best of luck in his WWE endeavors!
