More WWE releases may be coming
Rumors are circulating that some NXT UK talent may be released by WWE soon. This would follow releases from April and May of main roster and NXT talents. (Source: Mat Men Podcast)
We say: That roster is getting kind of crowded, but if they really are going for budget cuts then we wouldn't be surprised if this ended up being true. We see a couple of names likely going on the chopping block.
Keith Lee not released
Despite rumors going around that Keith Lee might have been released by WWE, he is still employed by the company. He had been pulled from the Elimination Chamber PPV last February and has not been seen since due to an unspecified injury that he is not cleared from. (Source: Fightful Select)
We say: All of these rumors would be put to rest if somebody would just tell us why Keith Lee isn't cleared to compete. Why the secrecy? What are they covering up? If they can't tell us the specific injury, can they just tell us outright that there is an injury or illness? Everyone being evasive is just weird.
