Welcome to the Grapevine! This section of Smark Henry is where we round up all the important founded and unfounded rumors floating around the pro wrestling scene that you may have missed over the past few days. Remember to take everything with a grain of salt!
Bray Wyatt update
Despite circulating rumors that Bray Wyatt had reportedly asked for time off from television to work on his mental health following Brodie Lee's passing, WWE sources have stated that he had been backstage at RAW after WrestleMania. The current belief is that Wyatt apparently wants to be on TV at the moment, and that nobody had heard anything about any reasons why he wasn't being used. (Source: Fightful Select)
We say: While this news certainly doesn't mean that Bray isn't hurting and doesn't want time to heal, it does put a little pin on those rumors. Guess we'll find out what he wants us to find out, when he wants us to find out.
WWE looking to boost RAW with new faces
Vince McMahon is reportedly looking to reinforce RAW with Damian Priest and Aleister Black. Priest is apparently getting a bigger push as McMahon wants new faces on the show, while Black is being considered to be moved back to the brand despite being drafted to SmackDown last October. The top of the card is said to be weak at the moment. (Source: WrestleVotes)
We say: Can anyone at least tell us why Keith Lee isn't being cleared to compete? He was supposed to be that guy plugging the top of the card, and now that there's no one left after Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman, they're all out of options. What now?
Riho back in Japan
Despite competing in the AEW Women's Championship tournament on the USA side, Riho is apparently off AEW television as she is back in Japan. She had officially finished up her responsibilities for STARDOM before returning to the US earlier this year, but it is not known why she returned after March. (Source: WON)
We say: It's a good thing that the AEW women's division is deep right now as there's enough time to miss her.
