Zelina Vega on her way back to WWE
WWE is reportedly planning on bringing back Zelina Vega. She was spotted at the Performance Center yesterday to film something, but sources say that the plan is to bring her back, and it had been in the works for a while. (Source: Fightful Select)
We say: Wow. So does this mean that the third-party rule is being relaxed? What's going on here? Either way, good for Zelina for managing to find a way back.
Audible called during Orange Cassidy vs. PAC
The finish to Orange Cassidy vs. PAC was changed on the fly. The original finish was supposed to be a time-limit draw after 20 minutes, but Cassidy apparently sustained a concussion following the sunset flip powerbomb on the outside. Kenny Omega ended up attacking PAC from behind to cause the double countout on the mat. Bryan Alvarez reports that Cassidy eventually passed a concussion test. (Source: PWInsider, Wrestling Observer Live)
We say: That was a really good audible, because we thought that was the planned finish (and reacted like it was). Now that that's been cleared up, really good for Aubrey Edwards to call that on the spot and for everyone involved to pull it off seamlessly.
Santana missed Dynamite due to illness
Inner Circle member Santana missed this week's episode of Dynamite due to being sick. His absence was explained as him being arrested for trying to stab MJF with a fork during the Blood and Guts match last week. (Source: Wrestling Observer Radio)
We say: Get well soon, Santana, and we hope it isn't COVID.
