WWE drops claim on Brock Lesnar trademark
WWE has apparently abandoned a claim for the "Brock Lesnar" trademark for entertainment services. The company had failed to comply with a documentation request, after they did not submit written consent from Lesnar for the company to keep using his name. The company still has until December 2 to appeal the decision. Without the trademark, any other company can use Lesnar's name should he decide to sign anywhere else.
Lesnar's last appearance for the WWE was at WrestleMania 36 back in April, and both his in-ring and merchandising contracts have been allowed to expire by the company. (Source: Heel By Nature)
We say: What this all really means is that WWE just didn't think all of the documentation surrounding Brock wasn't worth pursuing at the moment. He can go anywhere else if he wants, but that's if he wants to go to other places.
PAC update
AEW apparently already has creative plans for PAC's imminent return to the company. The main reason why he's only being brought back now is not because it's difficult to get him in the US, but that it's logistically difficult to get him back home into the UK. Every time he has to return to the UK, he would have to subject himself to a two-week quarantine, which is not very feasible for anyone. (Source: WON)
We say: Poor PAC. This likely means that he'll finally be staying in the US for a longer period of time.
