Play Henry: WWE 2K Battlegrounds Adds Batista, The Usos, Eddie Guerrero, And More

Roman Reigns and Jey Uso in WWE 2K Battlegrounds

After almost two months, we’re finally going to get some of that tasty free WWE 2K Battlegrounds DLC. Technically, I should say “free” since some of them will need to be unlocked with microtransactions but some of them will be playable from the get-go.

From November 6 till November 18, ten Superstars will be added to the game’s roster. It’s a good mix of modern-day stars and legends, so no matter your preference, nobody gets left behind. There are more Superstars coming as well and this is only the first batch, so if you're favorite isn't here, just have a bit of patience.

Without further ado, here are the Superstars coming to 2K Battlegrounds and when they will be coming to the game:

    November 6

    • Goldberg (must be unlocked)
    • Batista (must be unlocked)
    • Jey Uso (unlocked right away)
    • Jimmy Uso (unlocked right away)

    November 11

    • Ultimate Warrior (must be unlocked)
    • Eddie Guerrero (unlocked right away)
    • Lita (unlocked right away)

    November 18

    • Trish Stratus (must be unlocked)
    • Booker T (must be unlocked)
    • Ruby Riott (unlocked right away)
Honestly, this is a solid list of Superstars for fans of 2K Battlegrounds and a recent update even added new moves for wrestlers like Drew McIntyre, Rey Mysterio, and Cesaro, among others. It’s also nice to see Lita and Trish in their WWE Evolution attires so here’s hoping this is also their default outfits when WWE 2K22 comes out because I am tired of seeing Lita in that white shirt/military pants combo (that theme song is bitching though).

I’m one of the few people who genuinely liked WWE 2K Battlegrounds, though I’m also not dumb enough to think that the game's microtransactions are fair in any way. After a while, the chibi Superstar models start to get endearing and pulling off reversals here feels better than in most WWE games. The game is fun and is a pretty solid way to kill time on your console of choice, though I’d wait for the deluxe edition to go on sale.
