Updates on Andrade going undrafted
Andrade was apparently not drafted on this year's WWE Draft because he will be sidelined for a month after a minor procedure. He wrestled on RAW this week, however, losing to Angel Garza. While rumors have said that he is likely to stay on the RAW brand, there was apparently talk of sending him back to NXT, which was fueled by a tweet of a photo of him winning the NXT Championship at NXT Takeover: War Games. We say: First of all, even if Andrade was going to be out for a month, is that any real reason to disrespect him by not including him in the kayfabe Draft? Especially when Charlotte, who wasn't even on the show, got drafted? Second of all, Andrade back to NXT is one of the better ideas we've heard this week—NXT still needs star power, even if Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa are still on the show, and we've always thought Andrade was called up too soon. He needs rehabilitation more than Finn Balor did when he went down. Pull the trigger on this.
Update on Finn Balor and the NXT Championship
There are reportedly no plans to strip Finn Balor of the NXT Championship due to his surgery. Of all the rumored storylines being planned in case Balor can't compete anytime soon, vacating the title is not in the discussion. This is apparently because they don't want to do that again so soon after Karrion Kross had to drop the title. (Source: Fightful Select)
We say: That's good to hear—NXT is deep enough anyway to run other things on top of the card, and it seems Balor's injury isn't too bad.
