- Vince McMahon is reportedly frustrated with RAW. Paul Heyman has been removed from his role as executive director of the brand, with all creative on both RAW and SmackDown to be consolidated under Bruce Prichard. This follows ratings for the show falling drastically during the empty-arena era. (Source: PWInsider, Wrestling Inc)
We say: Vince (and the USA Network) will likely need to bite the bullet here as it's not really any of the talent or creative's fault that the show is doing badly. There are more important things happening in their country, and while wrestling is one way to escape, they'll have to take a backseat to history unfolding for now. Heyman did his best to refresh RAW, and sacking him might not have been the best move to do in the long-term.
- Billy Gunn is apparently unable to use the "Gunn" name on AEW. Gunn is apparently WWE intellectual property, which is why AEW has been referring to him as "Billy of the Gunn Club" or "Billy and Austin Gunn" when he's with his son. Like Cody Rhodes, his official ring name in AEW is just Billy. (Source: Wrestling Observer Radio)
We say: As long as they don't call him Kip Sopp, we'll be fine.
