    T-Hawk: Strong Heart, Stronger Chop

When PWR Co-GM Poch announced that he was hard at work at bringing more talent to our shores, he was quick to come up with results. Hailing from Oriental Wrestling Entertainment, the current Wrestle-1 Champion and All Elite Wrestling superstar T-Hawk is coming for PWR's Pak! Ganern!.

    Who is T-Hawk?

T-Hawk started his pro wrestling career with Dragon Gate back in March of 2010 under the ring name Takuya Tomakomai. As a promising rookie, he earned a reputation for the devastating power he had in his knife-edge chop. This led him to the finals of a "King of Chop" Tournament by Dragon Gate in 2012, but was unsuccessful in the end. Nevertheless, he was still able to take part in a number of championship reigns as part of the Blood Warriors and Mad Blankey groups.

After a brief stint in Mexico under the Dragon Gate affiliate International Wrestling Revolution Group, Tomakomai, now known as T-Hawk, returned to his home promotion. There, he teamed up with fellow King of the Chop finalist and tag team partner in Mexico, Eita, to form Millenials. Along with U-T, the group captured and recaptured a number of titles. The three eventually feuded after they were forced to disband.

After a year-long stint in Monster Express, he found a home in 2016 with VerZerk, the main heel unit of Dragon Gate at the time. Within a year of joining, he won the 2017 King of Gate tournament to claim a shot at the Open the Dream Gate Championship, although he fell short in the end. One of VerZerk's biggest accomplishments as a group was to force the disbandment of one of the stables that had plagued T-Hawk throughout his career, the Jimmyz.

In 2018, OWE developed a working relationship with Dragon Gate. This eventually saw the departure of key talent, including CIMA, T-Hawk, and others, to join the Shanghai-based promotion. This group of Japanese wrestlers, along with other foreign talents, eventually formed the group called Strong Hearts. The stable represented OWE in various promotions across the world.

Perhaps their most public match so far was in All Elite Wrestling's first PPV, Double or Nothing. Strong Hearts—CIMA, El Lindaman, and T-Hawk—took on SoCal Uncensored—Christopher Daniels, Scorpio Sky, and Frankie Kazarian—in a losing effort. However, T-Hawk, continued on to win championships in three other organizations: the AWF Australasian Championship, DDT's KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Championship, and the Wrestle-1 Championship, a title he holds to this day.

    Intense Chop Battle, Imminent!

Facing off against the mighty hands of T-Hawk is none other than Philippine Wrestling Revolution's own heavy-handed hitter, Vlad Sinnsyk. It seems like a cruel revenge ploy by Co-GM and former PHX Champion, John Sebastian, to get back at the other title challenger upon losing his belt to Chino Guinto. It'll surely be an interesting match-up as Vlad Sinnsyk, The Hand of Judgment, earned the reputation of owning the most brutal chop in the PWR locker room.

Whose knife-edge chop will cut the deepest as these two monsters battle it out in the ring this June 30? There's only one way to find out.

Catch the opening show of the sixth season of PWR at PWR Live: Pak! Ganern! this June 30, 2019. The bell rings at 2 p.m. at the Power Mac Center Spotlight in Circuit Makati. Tickets are now available at discounted prices through various retail outlets and at the PWR official Facebook page.
