PWR Star Crystal Falls Short In Quest To Become Wrestling Queen of Asia

PWR star Crystal may have made waves as the first woman wrestler in the current revival of Filipino pro wrestling, but she still has a long way to go before stamping her class on the regional scene.

Initial reports from the December 9 Wrestle the Odds charity show by Singapore Pro Wrestling (SPW) indicate that the "Bad-Ass Babe" fell short in a second attempt to be crowned the first Queen of Asia—a coronation which was aborted six weeks ago due to some strange interference from an unexpected player.

Instead, Russian IWF star "The Queen of Scream" Kasey—who was responsible for the controversial conditions leading to this reboot—is now the official holder of the crown after pinning SPW veteran "The Lion City Hitgirl" Alexis Lee in a ten-minute grind.

Details are scarce, but we'll be sure to fill you all in with more in-depth match reporting as it arrives.

In the meantime, let's all salute Crystal for getting this far so early in her professional wrestling career. We're pretty sure it's just a matter of time until she impresses Southeast Asia wrestling fans in an even bigger way as one of the founding talents behind Asia Wrestling Entertainment's women's division.
