    [FULL RESULTS] PWR Renaissance 2016

The Smark Henry crew was live at the Philippine Wrestling Revolution's latest live event, PWR Renaissance 2016 at the stately Unilab Bayanihan Center along Pioneer Street in Mandaluyong City. The super show promised some epic action, including a stellar main event for the PWR Championship between current holder Jake De Leon, and his latest challenger, the dangerous John Sebastian, as well as a PHX Championship defense by Main Maxx against the never-say-die Crystal.

Here are the full results from tonight's wars, Revo-Nation!

Match #1: Vlad Sinnsyk vs. Trabajador Tres

Dominant match by the leering Sinnsyk, putting his masked opponent away in short order with his trademark Muscle Buster.

    Winner: Sinnsyk via pinfall

Vintendo comes out to challenge him to a match.

Match #2: Vlad Sinnsyk vs. Vintendo

All the usual crowd-pleasing spots from Vintendo came into play, with a Hundred Hand Slap and Shoryuken in the corner getting appreciative applause.

Sinnsyk dodges a High Score chokeslam attempt and takes Vintendo's head off with a vicious lariat for his second win of the night. Vintendo had to be helped out by event staff afterwards.

    Winner: Sinnsyk via pinfall

Match #3: Robynn vs. "The Walking Death" Mike Madrigal

The Rainbow-Haired Warrior Robynn put up a feisty showing against the kupal from Death Valle Verde, nearly scoring an upset after countering a Go To Sleep with a T-Bone suplex. A second GTS however found its mark, giving Madrigal a nasty win.

Madrigal continued to put the hurt on Robynn after the match, mocking her with the Stroke finisher of his rival from Fighters 4 Hire, Joey Bax. F4H made the save, with Bax and Miguel Rosales running Madrigal off before he could do further damage.

    Winner: Mike Madrigal via pinfall

    Main Show

Match #1: James "Idol" Martinez vs. Ralph Imabayashi

Energetic match that saw Imabayashi impress with his usual high-impact offense, including a crushing top-rope kneedrop and a spine-snapping Sharpshooter.

Martinez escaped under the ring, with Imabayashi in hot pursuit as the referee lay down the count. Idol snuck back into the ring before the ten-count, claiming victory via countout.

    Winner: Martinez via countout

Match #2: Rederick Mahaba vs. Peter Versoza

Smashmouth match through and through, with Mahaba leveraging his size advantage (and new braces!) to dominate his smaller foe early on with a crushing corner avalanche, a series of splashes, and a falling powerslam.

Versoza countered a Jaccolade attempt with a poke to the eye, followed by a Petegree that netted a close two-count. One Swanton Bomb later, and Versoza took home the win.

    Winner: Versoza via pinfall

Match #3: Delirium (Dax Xaviera and Dan Ericson) vs. Fighters 4 Hire (Joey Bax and Miguel Rosales)

Great double-team action from both men, with Delirium dazzling the veteran F4H early on with a dropkick-Samoan Drop combo.

Rosales and Bax fought back with their patented suplex-based offensive arsenal, pounding their young foes with a double spinebuster to seize victory.

Bax cut a passionate promo after the match calling out Mike Madrigal to a tag team match at PWR Live next month.

Winners: Fighters 4 Hire via pinfall

Match #4—All Out War: The Apocalypse vs. Chris Panzer

Apocalypse was gunning on all cylinders early on, dissecting Panzer from the get-go with surgical precision—not to mention a steel chair. Panzer evened the odds with a baseball bat, but got his back busted open in a bloody mess after a fluorescent light strike.

This brutal war continued with a fired-up Panzer taking down his fearsome foe with a pair of Panzerschreck kicks, seemingly on his way to a comeback win. But a single Death Bell from Apocalypse was enough to wrench out a thrilling win.

    Winner: Apocalypse via pinfall

    Interview Segment: Mr. Sy Returns

Former PWR General Manager Mr. Sy makes his return to demand his job back, saying PWR has been in shambles since he left, with business deals falling through left and right.

John Sebastian interrupts to confront the man he got fired, leading to a heated exchange, and the promise of another confrontation later on.

Match #5: Beer Promdi (Mark D. Manalo and Kanto Terror) vs. The YOLO Twins (Yohann and Logan Ollores)

Fun match that saw tons of crowd-pleasing offense from both teams, including stereo dives by the twins to the outside. Beer Promdi was overwhelmed, with Mark D. Manalo falling to an assisted One Night Stand, only for Logan Ollores to yank him up for a two count.

The YOLO Twins got the win with a figure-four on Mahalo, claiming to be sending a message to the whole tag division of PWR. Manalo was later diagnosed with a possible fracture in his leg, rendering his future in PWR uncertain.

    Winners: YOLO Twins via submission

Match #6—PHX #1 Contendership Submission Match: SANDATA vs. "The Golden Boy" Chino Guinto

Both men picked a body part on which to focus early on, with Chino Guinto targeting SANDATA's arm, while the masked warrior unsurprisingly focused his efforts on Guinto's leg, softening him up for his deadly ankle lock.

This was the best-received match so far, earning the first "This is awesome" chant of the night from the  red-hot crowd. After multiple ankle lock attempts, SANDATA locked on his Garrote mounted cobra clutch on Guinto, who refused to tap, passing out from the pain instead. SANDATA is now the #1 Contender for the PHX Championship.

    Winner: SANDATA via TKO

Match #7—PHX Championship: Crystal vs. Main Maxx (c)

Amazing match that was perhaps the greatest David-and-Goliath match in PWR history. Crystal was the aggressor throughout the match, taking Maxx off balance with a high-low offense that earned numerous two-counts.

Maxx seemed to grow increasingly conflicted throughout the match, seemingly unwilling to unleash his full might on his hard-fighting opponent. The PHX Champion retained his gold with a half-hearted Blitzkrieg to put Crystal out of her misery.

After the match, Peter Versoza returned to the ring to lay further abuse to the fallen Crystal. Maxx called off the attack, pulling his vanquished foe to her feet and shaking her hand in respect.

    Winner: Main Maxx via pinfall

Match #8—PWR Championship: John Sebastian vs. Jake De Leon (c)

Great back-and-forth match that saw both men bust out everything but the kitchen sink in their battle to rule PWR. Sebastian was in shock as JDL kicked out of a Killshot, eventually falling to a thunderous Alipin Drop for the loss.

Post-match, John Sebastian offered Mr. Sy his job back in exchange for a rematch with JDL for the championship. Sy consented to a Bacolod Bullrope match at the next show on November 13.

    Winner: JDL via pinfall
