    The Grapevine (4/14/16): Styles Crash

Good morning, and welcome to the daily Grapevine! Here is where we round up all the rumors, hearsay and tidbits of news from the wild world of professional wrestling that you may have missed over the evening.

After suffering a bad fall on SmackDown, AJ Styles is safe and sound:

    • After a botched move by Alberto del Rio that saw AJ Styles landing on his head on this week's episode of SmackDown, he appears to be fine. They were able to keep wrestling for another minute and finish the match seemingly as planned. Styles tweeted a fan who was looking forward to seeing him in Dubai, saying he'll be there. (Source: WrestlingInc)

We say: Although no one knows for certain except for him, it seems as though he may be downplaying whatever he got from that spot. But if he can still be optimistic like he was in that tweet, then it might not have been anything severe. Let's hope everyone can stay safe in this age of both wear-and-tear and freak injuries.

    • Lucha Underground just applied for some new trademarks. The new IPs include "Pentagon Dark," Kobra Moon, "Night Claw," "No Mas Match," "4 A Unique Opportunity Match," and "Six To Survive Match." (Source: PWMania)

We say: We can pretty much tell what Pentagon Dark could possibly be (other than a really badass Pokemon), but we're definitely interested in what a Night Claw is. We're guessing the No Mas Match is their version of I Quit, and Six To Survive is either an elimination tag match or a scramble match. Sounds interesting.

What do you think? What would you want to see on Lucha Underground? Let us know what you think in the comments!
