    #FinisherFriday (4/15/16): HOT or NOT—The #TagTeamRevolution

Hot off the heels of this week’s amazing RAW (definitely not talking about Roman’s character and those GD League of Nations), we were offered more than just glimpses of cult leaders-turned-saviors, insane match stylings, and finger gun salutes, as we were given another treat by Shane O’ Mac with a Tag Team Tournament to determine the #1 Contender for the New Day’s…

    *booty shake*

And that is what this latest edition of #FinisherFriday will be tackling: what could be another revolution in the making or a massive car crash waiting to happen.

And with a true Smark Henry-certified smarkomparison (patent pending), our #FF for today will be taking a look at the current tag team scene and the team’s respective finishers through a shout-out to the age old question of...

    HOT or NOT.

    Let’s go!

This move combination should be called AWE. Because that’s the only way you would feel after seeing Sin Cara’s p-awe-r rollup deadlift powerbomb into a c-awe-rkscrew crossbody by Kalisto.

Those puns weren’t as fluid as expected, I know, but this move definitely isn’t.

You have to give credit to The Vaudevillains for sticking to their gimmick with a bland and definitely out-of-its-time finisher.

With Simon Gotch delivering an uppercut to the back of the head followed by a swinging neckbreaker by Aiden English, the only thing that can make this more epic is if it's followed by a bearded lady Vader bomb.

    HOT: 3D

Almost as synonymous to The Dudley Boyz’ tables, the Dudley Death Drop is the definition of a classic tag team finisher fitting the in-your-face, smashmouth style of this legendary duo. Need we say more?

    NOT: 3C

Nope, not the Connecticut Crossbody Cutter.

It’s the finishing move of the Social Outcasts.

It's when they let their opponents pin them to the mat for the three-count.

A legit finish to the match and celebrated move to the jobbermania status of the Outcasts.

    HOT: Magic Killer

An assisted modified swinging neckbreaker has never looked so good inside the WWE ring. Contrary to its name, the magic has just begun.

    NOT: Rocket Launcher

Basically a Big Cass-assisted Enzo Amore top rope splash.

The only thing that can make it labeled as HOT, is when they official declare that Enzo’s tag to Big Cass becomes the official finisher.

    HOT: Pendulum Backbreaker

Coup de Grace adjace but definitely maje.

New Day has been amazing ever since their turn to unicorn positivity and they are definitely putting the exclamation point to the unicorn stampede.

    NOT: Midnight Hour

…But the New Day’s other finisher of the assisted Big Ending is rrrrrrepug!

Imagine you have the ever-athletic Kofi jumping on the opponents back, as Big E lands the Big Ending.

If its like the Revival's new finisher though...

HOT or NOT, the tag team division is definitely heating up and we are hoping that it won’t fall back to false hope.

    Let us know if...

    • We missed out on anything
    • We incorrectly stated some facts
    • We are awesome

And if so, I would gladly give you a snapshot and throw the whisper to the wind. More bang for your buck, I guess?
