Bayley set to be in Nashville
Former SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley is reportedly set to be in Nashville, Tennessee, the site of SummerSlam weekend. She had been out since last July after tearing her ACL. It's not yet known whether she is actually set to return at the show, as it is still possible she could return to any of the brands after the PLE. (Source: PWInsider)
We say: The WWE main roster has definitely missed the work of Bayley, and it will be interesting to see where and what she will return as.
WWE women frustrated with Vince McMahon over booking
There is apparently some mounting frustration with Vince McMahon from the women wrestlers in WWE over how they have been booked as of late. Women from both the top and the bottom of the card have been quietly expressing this frustration, which may be why more women have been booked on SmackDown. There is also unhappiness over how McMahon has been trying to get himself on TV in the wake of the allegations he's been getting, which he had been doing instead of featuring more women on TV in good storylines. We say: WWE diehards will likely sweep this under the rug as the women aren't really a priority for them, but it is interesting to see the talent lose more faith in Vince. We wonder when or if they actually realize that the power to demand systemic change actually lies with them and not an out-of-touch old man. You got the power, guys.
