The Grapevine (12/10/21): Updates on Jeff Hardy, Johnny Gargano Is Now A Free Agent

    Jeff Hardy

Welcome to the Grapevine! This section of Smark Henry is where we round up all the important founded and unfounded rumors floating around the pro wrestling scene that you may have missed over the past few days. Remember to take everything with a grain of salt!

    Updates on Jeff Hardy

WWE has released Jeff Hardy yesterday following a "rough past two weeks" for the legendary Superstar. Hardy had walked out of a house show match last weekend, and had apparently been sent home from the tour. He had also apparently refused an offer from the company to go to rehab. We say: We hope Jeff Hardy gets better with whatever he's dealing with, and at this point it might be a good idea to let him rest from his long career.

Update on Johnny Gargano's contract status

Johnny Gargano is officially a free agent as of today. He turned down "multiple" offers from WWE, and had only signed a one-week extension to be able to work NXT WarGames. He is now able to appear for any company immediately as he does not have a no-compete clause from his contract naturally expiring. (Source: Fightful Select, Wrestling Observer Radio)

We say: All bets are on for Johnny Wrestling, and he can appear anywhere and everywhere (considering everyone else is working together). Where do you think he'll show up next?
