The Grapevine (11/25/20): Seth Rollins Written Off, WWE Streamers Become UpUpDownDown Producers

Sheamus and Seth Rollins on WWE Survivor Series 2020

Welcome to the Grapevine! This section of Smark Henry is where we round up all the important founded and unfounded rumors floating around the pro wrestling scene that you may have missed over the past few days. Remember to take everything with a grain of salt!

Seth Rollins written off at Survivor Series

Seth Rollins's quick elimination in the men's Survivor Series match last Sunday was to write him off from TV. As was rumored last week, Rollins will be off TV to prepare for fiancee Becky Lynch's birth, which is due sometime in December. Rollins won't be away long, apparently returning in time for or at Royal Rumble. (Source: F4WOnline)

We say: It checks out, especially as an interesting way to get written off. Would like to see the logic they've got prepared for that one in January.

Dakota Kai, Jessamyn Duke, Mia Yim, and Shayna Baszler officially working on UpUpDownDown

WWE stars Dakota Kai, Jessamyn Duke, Mia Yim, and Shayna Baszler have been named "co-commissioners" of UpUpDownDown, and this will be actual producer roles on the channel. This is to get more content for the channel, although it is unclear whether they will be compensated for this. (Source: Fightful Select)

We say: It seems this is some sort of compromise, but all we're looking for is the right compensation for the superstars putting in work outside the ring.
