#SGQ: Ranking Naitch's Looks In The 'Ric Flair Drip' Video

It's not every day you get a hip-hop X pro wrestling crossover, so when it happens—especially in grandiose, big pimpin' style—we're all here to celebrate it.

This is why some of us at the Smark Henry offices love Offset, 21 Savage, and Metro Boomin's latest single "Ric Flair Drip." Aside from the overt Ric Flair reference, it's actually a hot track, and with a song like that there's no way they can do a music video without the Nature Boy. Fortunately for all of us, that's exactly what they did.

Naitch is legendary for stylin' and profilin', so out of pure office boredom here we decided to rank his looks and see how he holds his own in a hip-hop music video. Inspired by their idol, Offset and Metro Boomin are dressed impeccably and blinged out to the gills as well (as is customary in hip-hop fashion).

There are only three looks, but what the hell, right? It's only a three-minute song, anyway.

    3. This plain gray outfit Ric wore watch-shopping

Can we just point out how awkward Naitch looks in this whole video? For someone who's lived his life hamming his character up for the audience, you'd think he'd be more at home flaunting his fame and wealth—but instead he looks like he's just really, really happy to be here. We get that he's probably happy he's getting paid for this gig, but it's like he doesn't know how to work.

That said, this look that shows up in the middle of the video isn't terrible, but it's also rather plain. It's a three-piece that doesn't pop out at all; props to the understated T-shirt Naitch is wearing under his vest, but that could've been in a flashier color.

It's like he hasn't figured out if he wanted to go for formal or super business casual, because he's wearing a three-piece, but he's got the shirt underneath and penny loafers.

The watch he's got here is all iced out, but we can't exactly tell what make and model it is. Since Ric loves Rolexes, we're just gonna assume it's a Rollie.

    2. This blue plaid getup he rocks riding with Offset

Also simple but flashier thanks to the pop of color, we dig this look a lot more. The blue plaid suit looks so good on Naitch as a casual but refined jacket look—and it's clearer in this look that he's going for smart casual with the royal blue shirt underneath, frumpled up pocket square, and a couple of chains.

We're just feeling a little OC about his non-plaid indigo pants, but it's forgivable because it goes well with his shirt.

And look at those suede indigo loafers—that's how you appropriate the low-key pimp look. Huge upgrade from his watch-shopping getup. If there's anything that screams stylin' and profilin', it's this look.

    1. Of course, the Nature Boy robe

But when you do hear "stylin' and profilin'," you can't go wrong with the OG. In fact, it's so iconic that even Offset ends the video wearing it instead of his formal wear.

Remember when we said Naitch looks like he's just happy to be here? That expression works best when he's in his element, wearing his most resplendent red Nature Boy robe. For those of you who haven't seen the video yet, he cuts a short promo in the middle wearing this.

And if you haven't noticed yet... look at that thing hanging from his neck. The chain. Yes, the chain. Look at it. It appears early in the video but we don't get a good look at it until the last third.

This isn't the first instance of an ostentatious chain in a pro wrestling context, as John Cena did it first with the iced-out Chain Gang pendant, but this is obviously the best-looking done so far.

There you have it. A perfect video that pretty much sums up what the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair is all about, if we do say so ourselves. Offset (and the rest of the Migos) certainly know their stuff when it comes to pro wrestling, and as the sport slowly returns to its spot in the mainstream—as part of its life cycle—we hope to see more pop culture milestones like "Ric Flair Drip." Now, if you'll excuse us, we've got some WOO-ing to do.
