    The Grapevine (10/4/17): Twisted Sister

Good morning, and this is the Grapevine! This section of Smark Henry is where we round up all the founded and unfounded rumors abound the pro wrestling scene that you may have missed over the evening.

Who will be playing Sister Abigail?

    • No one will be brought up to play Sister Abigail; instead, it's being rumored that Bray Wyatt will be playing the character himself. He will sport a different look, much like how his opponent Finn Balor changes appearance to play the Demon. (Source: Pro Wrestling Sheet)
We say: Surprise! A callup would be too good to be true, and given the context of their feud, it does actually make sense. Unfortunately, the story has been so heatless that this revelation might hurt it even more than it will help. Unless, of course, Bray could pull it off and finally get his heat back. Who knew that this was actually his story, and not Finn's?
    • The Enzo Amore heel turn could have been planned as early as his second episode of 205 Live. He was already being booed during his promo with Neville, but there's no word yet on exactly when the decision was made. (Source: WON)
We say: Or it was possible that Enzo's nuclear heat was the reason they came up with a plan to send him to the cruiserweight division, and turn him heel. If that were the case, good planning.
    • Brock Lesnar will be appearing at RAW after TLC on October 23. A Universal Championship defense against Finn Balor is being planned for Survivor Series, but Lesnar isn't booked for any other RAW after the post-TLC show. John Cena is booked for Survivor Series but with no specific opponent yet, and he has no bookings on any RAW or SmackDown episode before then as well. (Source: WrestlingInc)
We say: So at the very least, Lesnar being gone for the rest of year isn't true. It's likely, however, that he may be gone after Survivor Series until next year. Let's see what happens, but at this point there's no chance at all he's dropping that title to anyone but Reigns.
