    The Grapevine (9/11/17): Horsing Around

Good morning, and this is the Grapevine! This section of Smark Henry is where we round up all the founded and unfounded rumors abound the pro wrestling scene that you may have missed over the evening.

What's really going on with the Eight Horsewomen?

    • The interactions between the two sets of Four Horsewomen during the Mae Young Classic seems to be building up toward an elimination match at Survivor Series. This would eventually reportedly build up to Stephanie McMahon vs. Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania. Charlotte Flair is also rumored to be in the running to face Ronda, but not as likely as Steph. (Source: WON)
We say: The Survivor Series match is an intriguing matchup, but one we're not quite sure we really, really want to see. Shayna Baszler would be the only real pro wrestler the Rousey Horsewomen have. (Although Marina Shafir could still get trained a bit in time for it by husband Roderick Strong.) Meanwhile, Steph/Ronda would be quite the spectacle, and it's at least on par with previous Mania stunts.
    • Samoa Joe is scheduled to return to action by the end of October. Joe was injured in a match against John Cena on a RAW live event late in August, and was last seen on TV in the tag match with Miz, Cena, and Roman Reigns on the August 21 episode of RAW. (Source: WON)
We say: We're glad to see Joe's injury isn't so bad. RAW really needs him.

Let us know what you think of today's news in the comments!
