Goddamn! There's just no stopping the Philippine Wrestling Revolution as it kicks off Season 4 of its tumultuous existence. The country's top pro wrestling promotion makes its grand return to the Unilab Bayanihan Center on Pioneer Street in Mandaluyong with a red-hot card for the ages at PWR Live: Bakbakan sa Bayanihan.

Conspicuously absent is PHX Champion "The Golden Boy" Chino Guinto, whose unfortunate ACL injury has him sidelined indefinitely, striking his supposed defense against Ken Warren off the card. PWR General Manager Mr. Sy has promised to announce a resolution for the PHX scene at this show, and we honestly can't wait.

The Revo-Nation was molten for Brad Cruz, who's looking more and more like PWR Champion Chris Panzer by the day. Facing him was the debuting Trabajador Quatro, a masked representative of the Secret Council of Trabajadores.
The two rookies put on an energetic (if slightly sloppy) showing that saw the dashing Cruz hit all his big moves, including a crowd-pleasing Gwapito's Elbow and a flapjack for the win.
Winner: Brad Cruz via pinfall
Throwaway match that served little more than to introduce the comic absurdity of the Revo-Ranger. A superkick was enough to save the Revo-Nation from the monstrous threat of the raging T-Rex.
Winner: All of us, I guess.
The newly-turned Vintendo looks to be getting into even better shape, and now sports a black and red ensemble to reflect his new "Raging Gamer" persona.
Vintendo dominated Bolt right from the start, manhandling him with moves like a sweet combo atomic drop into a side slam. Bolt fought back after countering a swinging side slam into a DDT, followed by a standing moonsault. Vintendo earned a DQ though after blasting Bolt with a blatant low blow as he scaled the ropes for an apparent moonsault attempt. A post-match High Score choke slam left the Anime-zing Fighter knocked out and in need of medical attention.
Winner: Bolt via disqualification

But Apoc couldn't be stopped. A missed splash by Dela Torre marked the beginning of the end. An STO, a top-of-the-ladder God's Mercy, and a Death Bell onto the pile of toys was enough to finally put his pesky nemesis away.
PWR senior official Matt Roxas came out to the ring afterwards to crown Apocalypse as the company's first All Out War Champion, handing him a belt made of the remnants of the original PWR Championship.

The Punk Dolls seemed to have the KakaiBros' number from the opening bell, mind-gaming them into losing their cool, and setting them up for some crowd-popping moves like a suicide dive from Martivo to the outside.
Kh3Ndrick and Mh4rckie fought back with some great chemistry, but were no match for their flamboyant foes. Dual top rope headscissors by the rainbow beshies led to simultaneous finishers for the decisive pin.
Winners: The Punk Dolls via double pin
Fast-paced, high-energy match that had both men putting on the most polished showing on the card so far.
SANDATA was dazzling with his array of standing Pagbasag ranas, a top-rope tornado DDT that had Sinnsyk reeling, and a pair of buzzsaw kicks that nearly put the match away. Sinnsyk dodged a Huling Bala attempt, and proceeded to crush the dazed Pinoy Tecnico with a nearly-botched Muscle Buster that hit just enough to secure the victory for the crazed madman.

The Network was riding high with the momentum of avenging their fallen brother Chino Guinto, and looked to have the belts sewn up with a Double Pay-In to one of the Ollores brothers. Twin magic and a healthy serving of Ken Warren interference proved to be the secret formula for victory, with a switcheroo leading to a double superkick and a Two Night Stand to Idol for the resounding win.

PHX Champion Chino Guinto came out to address the crowd regarding the status of his championship. He first announced that his ACL tear will have him out of action for 8-10 months, and formally relinquishes the Hybrid X belt
What a coming-out party for Dax Xaviera. From pre-show tag team jobber to legitimate singles star in just one match after a scintillating upset over former PHX Champion Ken Warren, who was perhaps looking too far ahead of this impromptu match.
Xaviera showed off why he's considered one of the best athletic up-and-comers in PWR today, dodging a Wi-Fi attempt and rolling up Warren for the huge win—the biggest yet in his career.

If you came in hoping for a well-directed technical masterpiece, you were in for a big surprise. Both teams wrestled an entertaining trainwreck of a match, which featured three referees getting knocked out and all sorts of foreign objects getting brought into the ring.
All the chaos led to the battle getting thrown out, with the PWR locker room finally emptying out to pull the antagonist pairs apart.
Winner: No-contest
Two of PWR's biggest alphas and best ring generals laid it all on the line in a classic war that will likely go down as one of the most brutal in the company's history.
De Leon surged right out of the gate, dominating Imabayashi with such trademark moves as his Hampas Lupa senton and a superkick fiesta. Imabayashi wrested the advantage back after a bad landing by JDL left him with a tweaked knee.
JDL tried to fight back, surprising Imabayashi with a Sonic Crusher out of nowhere—Ralph's own move!—and eventually cinching in the Inasal Lock. In the end, Imabayashi capitalized on De Leon's bad wheel to keep him down for the ten-count after a hangman's Sonic Crusher off the ropes.
Winner: Ralph Imabayashi via ten-count
Absolute madness. The two superstars put on an absolute legendary match that saw multiple two-counts, high spots galore, finisher kickouts, and more drama than you'll see on TV.
In the end, Suede nailed Panzer with a soaring Asai DDT to become the new PWR Champion.
