    The Grapevine (1/12/17): Jyle O'Smiley

Good morning, and this is your daily Grapevine! This section of Smark Henry is where we round up all the founded and unfounded rumors abound the pro wrestling scene that you may have missed over the evening.

    • Kyle O'Reilly is believed to be WWE-bound. It turns out that his Ring of Honor contract expired right before Wrestle Kingdom 11, and the fact that he didn't re-sign with the company is why he lost the ROH World Championship back to Adam Cole. However, only ROH officials are expecting this to happen right now, and the news is still unverified. His profile is no longer on the ROH website; however, Raymond Rowe of War Machine, who's also believed to be headed for the WWE, still has his profile up. (Source: WON)

We say: Looks like the brief title run was a way to get him to stay with ROH. We're kind of excited to see KOR stiff it up down at NXT, but hope he'll allow himself to be tamed, unlike his mentors The American Wolves.

    • Looks like Paige won't be back in time for WrestleMania 33. Her neck issues are still "touch and go," according to sources within the company. If she'll return to a WWE ring, it won't be until the summer at the earliest. (Source: PWInsider)

We say: There you go. It's now up to Paige to not fuck up between then and now, which would be a tall order considering who her boyfriend is.

    • Mick Foley may be leaving the RAW General Manager job soon. Not for any reason except that he needs some hip surgery, and he'll have to be off TV for a while when he gets it. Lana offered her services on Twitter after SmackDown, and Foley said that the job might be "up for grabs" soon. (Source: WrestlingInc)

We say: We'd buy Lana as a General Manager, but we have a feeling it'll devolve into another feud with Stephanie.
