#SGQ (6/21/16): New Lunatic Champion, New Lunatic Plates

Dean Ambrose is king of the wrestling world, and we all know what that means:

You know what else looks great? His brand-spanking-new WWE Championship custom sideplates.

Moments before RAW went live, the Lunatic Fringe posted a video on his official Facebook page showing the installation of his own bespoke plates onto the belt vacated by Roman Reigns (and poor Seth Rollins) just 24 hours ago.

We know how ol' Deano rolls; he's not much for flash, and it shows in the simple "DA" logo he's been using in all his merchandise since the fall of the Shield.

It certainly isn't as intricate as the "RR" scarab logo Roman Reigns favored for his custom plates.

Neither is it as all-around cool as Rollins' old Air Force-inspired logo plates.

Ambrose probably doesn't give a damn though. Even if it was funny seeing him pull up to this week's episode of RAW in a (minor spoiler) taxi cab, we all know how much being the champ means—and probably makes up for his less-than-memorable WrestleMania wipeout against Brock Lesnar.

Here's the entire video as shared on social media. As many times as we've seen the work done behind unscrewing a former champion's plates in favor a new one, it's always mesmerizing seeing the hands-on craftsmanship behind the WWE's championship ornamentation.

What do you think of Dean Ambrose's new logo custom plates, Henrinites? Did the WWE miss out on the opportunity to launch a brand new visual ID for the craziest WWE World Heavyweight Champion in some time, or are you just fine and dandy with his trademark old "DA" logo taking center stage?

Let us know in the comments below, but in the meantime, let's enjoy this quirky little Network exclusive of the new champion giving credit to everyone who helped him on his long and circuitous road to the top of the mountain.
