Adam Rose Speaks Up Against 60-Day Suspension (And Has A Doctor's Note To Prove It)

A couple of weeks back, word came out that WWE Superstar and Social Outcasts founding member Adam Rose was issued a 60-day suspension due to a second Wellness Policy violation.

In an unexpected move, Rose spoke out immediately on social media to defend himself over the suspension, saying:

I was not going to respond to my suspension but I feel I have to. I have two sons that will one day read that news about there daddy and a sister that died from complications related to a life long battle with heroin.

So I feel the absolute need and right to respond and let the truth be known.
I am pretty sure this response will meet nowhere near the publicity that my suspension did and that this response is tantamount to career suicide.
But I feel for my sons my sister and rest of my family... you the Wwe universe have the right to the know the truth over my suspension and what it was for.

I will also quote my Dr in my response as he was as shocked and appalled by this suspension.

I can say right now I did not do anything knowingly wrong and was taking prescribed medication that my Dr and I followed all the correct protocol on.
My actual response and Doctors response will be coming soon. So before you judge, know the facts.

My family and I are still collecting ourselves from this blow. I have zero anger or animosity against the WWE. But feel the administrators over the WWE Welnness policy were just simply not right in taking this action.

But I feel facts are the facts and my family and I will will be the ones putting our lives back together after this mess.
My response will be up soon along with my Doctors.

And as promised, he's gone back on Twitter to provide medical documentation to back his case.

    To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing this letter on behalf of Adam Rose (Ray Leppan—Date of Birth 7/20/29), whom I have treated since 4/30/15. Has has classic signs and symptoms of ADHD, determined through a very thorough psychiatric exam on 4/30/15.
He takes Adderall XR, which is an FDA-approved treatment for ADHD, and we have followed all standard of care protocols during his treatment, which has gone very well. He takes his medication as prescribed, and he is compliant with my treatment recommendations.
    Charles D. DeVine, MD

Rose goes on to say that this medication was something WWE was well aware of right from the start, replying to a Twitter follower:

To be fair to WWE, Adderall XR is a highly controlled substance, with the FDA going so far as to say on their official website:

Amphetamines have a high potential for abuse. Administration of amphetamines for prolonged periods of time may lead to drug dependence. Pay particular attention to the possibility of subjects obtaining amphetamines for non-therapeutic use or distribution to others and the drugs should be prescribed or dispensed sparingly.

But in any case, it seems that Rose is in the right on this one. If his doctor concurs that he's been spot-on with managing his ADHD—and ADHD can be very tough to live with—then it would seem that his 60-day suspension was entirely wrong.

What do you think of this latest development in the Adam Rose saga, Henrinites? Do you think the WWE will take kindly to being called out this way so publicly? Let us know your thoughts below.
